I'm getting one of the Inner/Inner cabins because my son wants a top bunk and I need to keep it cheap for our first cruise. Do these come with a separate sofa, table, tv, etc. (Sensation)? Anyone have photos of their inner/inner cabin they can post or send me? (michellet1959@yahoo.com)
Thanks!
I don't know about the very lowest cabins (Inner/Inner), These don't even show up on the Carnival deck plans . But I do think that if you've booked far enough in advance you'll probably get an upgrade. All cabins have two beds, a TV, a chair (or two) and a small table. Some have a sofa, but most don't.
Have a wonderful cruise with your son !

You'll have everything you mentioned. Except the sofa. Chairs/stools instead. I've stayed in one [also on the Sensation]. Well laid out. Plenty of storage space. Neither it, or my Paradise cabin [the same type as the one just noted], appeared cramped to me. And, unless I get upgraded, it's the kind of cabin I'll have in May.
thanks everyone... the inner/inner is on a hallway that's at the very stern of the ship, it's in between the two main port and starboard hallways. I figure it will be quieter with less traffic. I think it's either 165 or 185 sq ft which isn't too bad, the size of a small bedroom. Again we'll just be in there to shower and sleep and get what we need for our next activities!
I have a confirmed room on the Upper Desk, not the "guarantee" as I was afraid I'd get stuck on the lowest or 2nd lowest of the 4 stateroom decks.
I've seen the cabins but they are not restricted to just Inner / Inner.. I've seen the 2 sets of bunk beds in just the inside cabins as well. With adults and kids it doesn't seem to be too bad, with all adults, like the one I peeked in on, it seem to be very cramped.
Just my opinion.

I would think it could be noiser with the shaft vibrations. I had an inner cabin on the lowest deck on my first cruise (Ecstasy '99) and I could hear that while we were underway.

I hope we don't have that problems but we will be on the 3rd deck up, not the bottom one. I plan on bringing ear plugs anyway just in case of noise that would prevent sleeping.
