Just back from the Miracle...Any Questions?

Just got back from the Miracle, had a SUPER time! This is now one of our favorite ships. Will try to answer any questions anyone may have.

Hi Chris,

Leaving Tampa Sunday on the Miracle happy to hear you a a great time. Did you go on any excursions? If so, which ones and how would you rate them? Seems as if the excursions listed on line are not available because of time conflicts. Did you book prior to sailing or on board? We were considering Tulum and Cave Tubing. Thanks for any info, this will be my first time on Carnival.

Are there chicken wings available?

What times did the lido deck food-options close up for the night? I hear a few are open to 1am or so?

I read some place that they have little steak sandwiches available at one of the bars?

What ports did you visit? We are booked on an 8 day this upcoming September out of NYC.

What shore excursions did you take in, if any?

Any shows you recommend seeing, not seeing?

OK, let's see if I can get these questions answered.

YW---Went on excursions in three of the four ports.

1. Cayman -- Swimming with the stingrays -- Fantastic! Did that one through a private company (actually a gift from my TA)

2. Cozumel -- Just rented a Jeep and drove around the island ourselves. Hung out and had lunch at Mezcalito's (superb), then drove around some more.

3. Belize -- Cavetubing (through Carnival), a MUST DO!

4. Costa Maya -- Sail and snorkle -- again GREAT! Saw lot's of cool stuff.

We talked and could not decide on this trip which excursion was our favorite, they were all great!

We booked our excursions prior to sailing.

Unfurtunately if I did see your dad, I did not take notice, maybe I was just having too much fun to notice others, (even 6'8" and balding folks).

Well, Conquest was our first, and we know how passionate we can be about first's, but I think we liked the Miracle the best out of the 4 weve sailed on. Just a litle smaller and a better layout in my opinion. But loved them both.

LUM -- Did not see wings (love them too).

Not really too sure when Lido food closed (ate in the dining room every night), but the pizza bar is open 24/7.

Steak sandwiches are available at the deli and people were ranting and raving about them. I did not try one, 'cause I'm addicted to the Ruebens.

Saw Freedom to ride and a few of the comedy acts. They were ok.
