Default Balcony Rooms with 3 Beds on Liberty?

Yes or No?

Does the Liberty have balcony cabins with 3 beds in them? we have 3 of us in one cabin and would like to maybe upgrade to a balcony, if they have them with 3 beds if so are they sofa beds? how comfortable are they? and i dont really understand the chart that shows the cabin details like with the stars and such..

thanks,
David.

Hi David,

Yes, the Liberty has balcony cabins which will sleep three. The "star" means there are twin beds that can be put together to make a king and a sofa bed for one.

The "double dots" : have twin beds that can be put together and two upper bunks that pull out of the ceiling or wall.

I hope this helps you,

David, only some balcony cabins have couches that are convertible into a bed. On Liberty in Jan. my dd and her daughters had one. Older daughter preferred the couch/bed (it did look quite comfortable.)

We have two connecting balcony cabins booked for march 25th on the Liberty. One is for three passengers, with two twin beds and a convertible sofa bed. My daughter prefers the sofa bed to the twin bed and they are quite comfortable. Check with your TA or PVP for cabins authorized for three people.

Thanks for the INFO guys..

Now my question is im guessing the sofa beds will take up MOST of the space in the room when u fold it out? if the sofa bed is out can the people from the far bed walk by to the bathroom without mush trouble? lol

Thanks,
David.

Hi David,

As I recall, the sofa bed will be on the outer side of the cabin, nearest the balcony. The people in the other beds won't have to navigate around the sofa bed to get to the bathroom.

The travel sites don't use the same "codes" as the Carnival site. That's why you won't see "stars" or "dots".

Hey, we just got off the liberty and had a balcony with 3 persons. My husband and I slept in the bed and my daughter (18) slept on the sofa bed. It actually doesn't pull out, but can be made into a sofa with pillows, etc. My daughter loves the bed - as each time we book, this is how it is set up. The bed takes up no more space than during the day if that makes any sense. Have fun!!! Wish I were going back!!

Hi!

Thanks for the reply!

So the couch doesn't really fold out? would it be suitable for an adult to sleep on? and the other bed that u and your husband slept on, can they be pulled apart? the three of us are brothers and sisters, and we don't wanna sleep in the same bed hehe

Nope the bed/couch doesn't pull out and takes up no more room -- and the big bed can split into two singles. It will appear as one big bed, but all you have to do is tell your room stewart and he will separate them. My daughter just kept it as a bed and didn't remake the sofa. I wouldn't want to sleep with my siblings either. :-)

From my last Liberty cabin, I can say the sofa is not nearest the balcony, but the interior of the room. However, as they said up there, it doesn't actually pull out. You just take the cushions off and it becomes a single bed. Yes, it will sleep an adult.

You can request your bed arrangement with your PVP or TA and the room will be set up when you get there. If they miss it, tell your steward (not your stewart) and they will change the configuration.

When are you cruising?

Hello!

Thanks for ur answer! i will be cruising in SEPT.

So the bed is under the cushions of the couch? but is the sofa bed smaller than the regular beds in the room?

Anyone have pics of the sofa bed made to a bed?

Thanks,
David.

Sorry about the mispelled word above - I guess we need spellchecker on here, huh? But, anyway--- to to the cruise site - basically any cruise site and you can see the different cabins on the Liberty - or any cruise.
