Default booked for Sept 9 :) now one question (or 35)

Which dinner session is the best (this is the conquest group cruise)? When i paid i told her the late dinner seating. Is this the one most of you will be going on? I figure with all the snacks and late lunches and excursions that this would suit us best.

Also...she said to try for an upgrade rather than reserve a certain cabin since we have to celebrations that week. I'm worried about being on front of the ship cuz i get so sea sick (on party boats, never been on a ship)...

im so excited!!!!!

Yeeeaaaaaa! We booked the early dining time, I'm hoping the my DS, DIL and grandbaby will come with us. You will probably find that the group will be split between the two seatings. The group will be sat together (same tables/area) for each dining time.

Last cruise we took with the family, we had the later seating. It worked well in that we did not have to rush for the earlier time, so I may change it. With a 2 or 3 year old, it is always best if you don't have to rush. Since we will probably have child, I requested a small table because I would hate for her to be a disruption for anyone elses dining pleasure.

Are you prone to motion sickness, in general? If so, call you doctor and get a presciption for the patch. It will work. If your motion sickness is not severe (you can ride in the back of a car, etc.) then over-the-counter medication should work just fine.

What celebrations are you celebrating? Other than the fact that I will be there with you!

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Well if your grandbaby doesnt come, feel free to change your seating to sit with us

I'm just thinking with port excursions etc, that the late seating is great for us. We usually dont eat till after 7pm at home anyway, 6ish sounds early lol.

Its our 20th anniversary that week, and my birthday a couple of weeks before we leave. Were celebrating both (cuz im so special )

You will probably enjoy late seating, because it does take the stress off of you to rush through the afternoon.

I love celebrating special events on the ship. On our cruises in April '02, my DH and I celebrated our 28th anniversary and our DS and DIL celebrated their 1st anniversary. On the cruise in December, I celebrated my birthday. No events in September, so I guess I will just have to create an occasion. It is so much fun celebrating on the ship. It makes you feel even more special!

We requested early dining. We're early eaters at home so I liked it better. We did have late seating on our first cruise. NEVER went to a midnight buffet because I wasn't hungry and usually sleepy after eating so late! Just a personal preference. On our last cruise we had all our children, too and I don't think the 5 year old would have done well with late dining...although they ended up eating with their friends at camp carnival most nights...so, ?
