Fascination

Only because I've been on it the most times and I know all the casino staff. It feels like home to me.

Carnival PRIDE

Hands down, the best decor and the greatest staff! Sorry when she went to the West Coast.

Carnival "Miracle". Perfect size, not too big, not too small. Great food, and the best crew on any ship, anywhere. I'm really sorry to see her go off to NYC, but at least she'll be back in Florida for the winter.

Carnival Spirit by a nose, followed closely by the Carnival Pride.

The three we have named so far are all Spirit Class ships - they really are the perfect size and layout.

The PRIDE hands down. I love the bigger ships but enjoyed the layout of this ship and decor the best out of all I have sialed on so far. I just wish more of the Spirit class ships went to the ports I want to see on the dates I could sail. Due to wife's work schedule.

The Carnival Pride is my favorite. I won big in its casino. Second best is the Carvinal Valor where I celebrated my 30th wedding anniversary.

To everyone who wanted to know how I met my husband on the Paradise. We sat at the same dinner table together along with three sets of mothers and daughters. We started talking and relized hoow much we had in common. We went to all the shows together and did some excursions together. Everyone including our waiter and people we met on the ship thought we were traveling together. I was living in Columbus, Oh and he was from Milwaukee W.I. He would come out to Ohio once a month and I traveled to Milwaukee once a month. We got engaged the following year and got married in Oct 2001. I moved to Wisconsin 6 months before we got married and do not regret it. We will be celebrating our 6 year anniversary on Valor in Oct. You never know where you will me your future husband or wife. It happens when you least expect it. and I do not regret it. It was my first vacation I had ever taken, as my sisters say it was meant to happen

Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas, so far!

The ship is beautiful and the food was great. We had so much fun on that trip, met a lot of nice & fun people, I think thats why that particular cruise is my favorite!

Hello, for the first time I'm giving their air package a try. Carnival selects the same day flight. If i don't like it, I'll go back to doing air through my travel agent. Parking at JAN ( Thompson Field) is $20 a day and Gulfport is $5 (according to my TA), so hopefully Gulfport will work out.

Thoth,
Good luck on your flights. The good thing is, if your flight is delayed, the ship will wait on you. Let me know how it works out for you.

Happy Sailing to all;

Default Legend?

How come I never see anything about the Legend in almost any posts? Also I don't see many people with upcoming cruises on it. Is there something I should know? We're scheduled to sail on her in June.
Thanks

Pride is my favorite so far. I like the decor and the layout of the ship. I was sad to see her move to the west coast.

Default Glory all the way

Carnival Glory all the way. I have been on her twice once last year the western October 21st, 2006 and took the eastern March 3rd, 2007. Great size and love the Emerald Room (their supper club). Both times stayed on the panorama deck (last time was in 1065 a balcony room) which was a nice quiet deck. The staff was excellent (Chris and Chon dinning team on the first Glory but now on Freedom) Amanda assistant cruise director moving to Triump in a few weeks remember me and my boyfriend from the first time on Glory. Last but not less our cruise director on the last one was the best director ever in my mind "WEE JIMMY" if you go on the Glory until June 23rd you are going to have a blast with him. I personally liked the eastern caribbean and I hope to do it again. Wish I can go on a cruise right now since I am having cruising withdrawl But I can not go until next March or next October since I have a big event for this October (my oldest brother is getting married in Hong Kong on October 23rd.) Another reason why I like Glory is that it goes out of Port Canveral which is very close to Orlando and it is very organized.
