Excursion - ATV ride in the Jungle, has anyone done this?
My DH and I will be taking a cruise in a few weeks. We have already booked our shore excursions, one of them being an ATV ride through the jungle in Cozumel.
My question is this - I really want to take my digital camera to take pictures, but Im worried the ride might be to rough. Has anyone done this excursion before? Did you take a camera, and if so, how did you carry it? Camera bag, fanny pack, purse, backpack?
Any info would be helpful! Thanks~
It's not a big ride "thru" the forest. It's more like a ride to an area they have made in the forest. It has a straight path whhere you can gain speed then it ends and you have to U turn.
There is an opportunity for pictures, just keep the camera put away while you're riding.
Bring your own water along, too.

We did the Cozumel ATV excursion, and we loved it. They take you over some rough terrain to see some artifacts and tell you some of the history behind it. On the way back, you get to open it up on a straight road. We'd definately go again.

I just bought a really nice digital camera, I just don't want it to get bounced around if the ride is rough. Any thoughts?
We also did this excursion. It was awesome! If you want to take your camera use a fanny pack or a back pack. The ATV's have a spot where you can strap you bag to the front. It does get dusty though. We had no trouble with our camera on this trip. Enjoy! 8)
