Default Shore Excursions - What do you do with your MONEY??

We are leaving on our cruise in 5 days!!! However, on our last cruise, we found ourselves in kind of a pickle about what to do with our money, travelers checks, etc. while we were on a snorkeling excursion. We felt very uncomfortable leaving our bag on the boat unattended while we snorkeled. One of the guides was in the water with us, but the other guide stayed on the boat ALONE. I had a lock on my bag, but I still felt so uncomfortable, that I got out and sat on the boat with our stuff. We needed to carry some money because we were going to shop in town after the snorkel trip. I asked at Target if they had some type of waterproof wallet, but they didn't. The place we are going this time does not have any lockers, and the excursion consists of our whole family in the water at the same time. Any suggestions??

Bought a $5 dry box (used by divers) and clipped it to my swim suit with a carabiner. Worked great. Carla

I got one at a local dive ship but they also sell them in the gift shop on the boat. If you google dry box you can also find a lot of places to order them online in many sizes. I bought the personal sized one that was big enough for cash and credit cards. Carla

Every cruise ship sells dry boxes with the cruise line logo on them. They work fine.
