Drink Specials & Drink Tickets

I seem to remeber that the drink tickets did not cover the cost of the daily specials. What I was wondering was if you provide your own carnival daily special beverage cup if the ticket would then cover the cost of the drink? Also does the color of the cup you bring have to match the color of the cups they are using that day? We have kept some cups from a previous cruise.

You can get the drink of the day in a regular cup. You don't have to use a particular one. The special comes with a take home cup.

I've never used the drink coupons so I can't comment on that.
