Scammed? Carnival Vacation Club

I'm trying to find out information about the Carnival Vacation Club but have not been able to find a post in the first 10 pages. Can anyone point me in the proper direction?

Not too many people have bought into it. We did a couple years ago and will be using up our points this August on the Crown Princess. It wasn't really a scam but we can get better deals with our Military discounts and we like RCI so we won't be doing it again.

You are not going to get any new info. Message on the Carnival web site says that it has been discontinued.

I think I read somewhere on this board that CVC is being phased out due to lack of participation.
