Default Your input please!

How many days until you cruise, how many nights and which ship? also, for those of you that have cruised before what is the one most favorite thing about cruising that you look forward too?

21 days 7 nights Glory!
Spending quality time with my wife away from the home and work routine!
Can't wait!

My next Carnival cruise is 182 days away for 7 nights on the Carnival Glory. My next cruise less than a day away on the HAL Westerdam - 16 night Transatlantic. We are now down to counting hours...

I enjoy cruising because I can get away from computers and telephones and spend time with hubby. I also look forward to meeting new people and doing new things.

Our next cruise is 161 days away (seems like forever!). It is the CruiseMates 4B's group cruise. I can't wait!

7 days on the Conquest. First time to cruise the Conquest.
It's impossible for me to choose one thing that is my favorite about cruising. I guess the thing I look forward to is the opportunity to relax.

We're down to 13 days 'till the Carnival "Liberty", and a family reunion cruise.
The thing I like about cruizin' is the total lack of "things I have to do". I can just kick back, enjoy the moment, do most anything that strikes my fancy, and forget about the pager and the phone.
I often tell people who ask why I enjoy cruising so much, that the biggest decision I have to make is "Steak or Lobster"? Oh what the hell,,,I'll have both!

See you aboard,

Ken

We are eagerly awaiting 2 cruises this year. In 25 days is our annual company 4 day cruise to Cozumel on the Ecstasy.
Then for Thanksgiving we are on the Freedom for Turkeys CM group cruise.

Like Ken said, it's just the thought that there is nothing I have to do and I can relax completely.

22 Days until our "Escape the rat race" family reunion cruise on the Victory. And 244 days until we sail on the Valor for our neices wedding in St Thomas. Sailaway is my favorite time, as I know I'm leaving all the stress and bustle of our everyday lives back on shore! I agree with Skymaster..the hardest decision I want to make is whether to have the steak or lobster!!

35 days until we escape on the Fantasy.
Like lots of others, cruising is the most complete escape I've found. Until our first cruise last year, I never knew how relaxing a vacation actually could be.
....almost forgot.....DOCUMENTS ARRIVED TODAY!!!

In spite of it being hard to wait that long, I enjoy the anticipation of a cruise. It sure makes those hard days easier to bear.

We went on the Tropicale and Holiday about 16 and 17 years ago. At that time they were eastern and western cruises. We loved them, but then my son came along.

We are going on the Sensation in July.

Be careful on that first cruise about being rested. You get on the ship and try to do it all. You get home and need a vacation to rest.

73 days till we sail on Miracle out of New York. Can't wait to do the doc dance. I think the most exciting part of a cruise is the sail away. 2nd most exciting is docking at the different ports.

Luanne,
You are so right about being tired after a cruise. I always take the week off after a cruise to recover....

That doesn't necessarily just happen on the first cruise, and we didn't even try to do it all! We got back Saturday from our 6th cruise and I slept from Saturday night until 4 PM Sunday ! DH checked several times to see if I was still breathing !

Our next cruise shows in the clock below. It's too far away .

I look forward to just getting away and not having to cook, clean and run errands. I also LOVE sleeping on a ship!

It is. When I vacation I stay up late and up before the sun........... Play hard for a week and rest afterwards.......... Not sure if I could handle 2 cruises back to back.

My favorite time is daybreak! It is so quiet on the decks when the morning breaks. Very special time of day. I think I could handle b2b cruises, without any problem!

The best part of a cruise for me is 1) the moment you walk onto the ship and look up at the atrium 2) When the ship sails away 3)excitement of meeting new people 4) Walking on deck the first night when all the lights are lit up 5)Seeing the ocean all around you the 2nd morning when you wake up and go up on deck.

Priceless!

My first cruise was in 1969 to the Mediterranean courtesy of the U S Navy.
My countdown clocksays the rest. I love the fact that you visit different places and meet some very interesting people in a short period of time. The change of routine is also one of the reasons I cruise. I only regret that I can't cruise more often. Get out there and see the world

Our next cruise is on the Ecstasy in Dec. It will be our second cruise. This time my son and his wife and 10 year old daughter will be with us, and possible some other family members. My sister wants to go but is afraid she will get seasick! Haven't been able to talk her into taking that big step yet!

The only thing we didn't like about our first cruise on the Conquest was that they made us get off of the ship!! We would have been perfectly content to just stay there. I think we could definately handle B2B cruises.
