Default Cold sail away in Galveston this weekend

Looks like a cold sail away on the Conquest this weekend. Highs in the 50's. Well, at least we will be sailing towards warmer temps and water.

It could be worse. I have cruised out of there in Dec. and felt like we were going to freeze. You will feel a big different once you get out in the gulf stream. By morning it will be hot.

Hot is good!!! I'll be looking forward to that. I'm guessing the pools are probably empty with the brisk outdoor temps.

You would be surprised. They will be busy before you know it.

Yes, I just saw on the news that it will be dropping to the 40's and raining Saturday and in the high 30's for Sunday with a chance of sleet and or flurries in the far burbs of Houston. BRRRRR ! We put the firewood away too soon !
