Whats new year eve like on Carnival?
A couple of us posted before but didn't really get many responses. Has anyone ever done new years eve on a carnival ship?
If so what was it like (I mean minus being sprayed by champagne)? Thanks, Carla ;) |
There is always a party atmostpher. Lots of noise makers, good food, count down. etc. Pretty much what you would find at a regular party.

Hi,
We were on the Conquest over New Years this past year. It was the most amazing New Year's eve party and best cruise we have ever been on. There was free champagne as soon as you board and again later in the night for the celebration, party favors given out at dinner, balloon drop, live bands, a countdown by the Cruise Director, and the most explosive party ever at Midnight. We will never forget it and will definately do it again. If you want, you can read my review at the following link. http://cruisemates.com/forum/viewtop...390&highlight= Enjoy your cruise, |
I have been on many cruises over the years, but I must be truthful - ever since I saw the original version of The Poseidon Adventure, I have the creeps about being on a cruise ship on New Year's Eve. Stupid I know but I'm being honest.

On the Conquest for New Years they kept playing the song"There's got to be a morning after"

Adias,
It depends where you are...Could be warm. could be cold, could be wet, could be dry. 8) LOL 8) LOL 8) LOL 8) LOL 8) LOL 8) LOL Just kidding. As you may already know my first cruise is the end of this month, but I read somewhere else on here that it was a blast. |
Well, I was thinking of maybe doing one sometime until Subtropic put his nickel's worth in. :o

I had hoped they would shoot off fireworks into the black sky. That would be so cool to be relaxing on a deck chair watching the show!. We will be on the Valor Dec 30 07.

My BF is insisting the PVP told him that he would have to have a tux on this cruise to attend the new years eve party. What new years eve party?
We do not have a sea day on new years eve, we will be docked in San Juan from 5pm - Midnight, so I know its not a formal night thing. Any idea why he has to have a tux? Thanks, Carla ;) |
