Default sign and sail card

i will be traveling with my 16 year old daughter and two of her friends. will i have to put up my credit card for there sign and sail card or can they put up cash. we will be on a 5 day cruise. is the fountain card worth buying? how much are they?

You can either use your CC, or use cash. The cash for the girls is probobly the best for them. When it runs out you go to the pursers desk and put down more cash. it puts some controls on their spending. The soda/pop card I beleieve is $5 a day. It is worth it for the kids if they drink a lot of sodas. If you buy individual sodas they are $1.75 ea.

Thanks for the info. We are thinking about snorkeling. Do you recommend getting it through Carnival or wait til we get to Costa Maya or Cozumel? I hear they are cheaper but I need another opinion. Thanks!

We did not do any snorkeling, but I think you can do that better on your own. There are plenty of websites that offer this. Just Google the port and you will find many options.
