Going to Cozumel and Costa Maya. We are thinking about snorkeling. Should we get this through Carnival or somewhere else? I have heard that they are much cheaper than Carnival.
I would recommend just taking a taxi to a beach and renting the equipment there...
Unless you are a professional snorkeler the taxi to a beach will work great.. Has for us each cruise.

Most beaches that cater to cruisers have snorkel equipment to rent. On your own is usually cheaper than through the cruise lines. Just be aware of the pitfalls if you run into problems on your own.
