Default Which coke products are served on Carnival?

Does anyone know where I can find a list of the coke products served on carnival?

My mom is a diabetic (diet)Pepsi lover, she hates diet coke. I am trying to find a couple alternative diet pops for her to try at home before we leave. If not I had better get really creative and find a way to get her Pepsi on board. Thanks, Carla

On your way to the ship, stop a convenience store and pick up a couple of six packs of pepsi. Carnival allows you to bring a "reasonable" amount of non-alcoholic beverages with you.

I too perfer pepsi and, if time and convenience allow, will stop and pick up a six pack for my cabin (6 is plenty for me) as well as some bottle water (I perfer smaller bottles than what Carnival sells on the ship -- easier to tote around ports.)

Forgot to add that the ship carries limited coca cola products such as coke, diet coke, sprite, ginger ale. I don't think they carry cherry coke or any of the fruit flavors.

Read Carnivals new rule for bringing on soft drinks and water! It is not allowed and they are checking baggage closer.

I will let you know in a few weeks how close they are checking luggage.......
I would be shocked if they are opening luggage to check for pop... or soda... or Coke!

They are checking it that close. In New Orleans (I believe) they took a record amount of drinks, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic. One of the frequent posters said she read it in the paper so you might be able to use Google news to find the article.

Carnival only offers one diet pop?! Wonder if I could get a Dr's order for diet pop to bring on board Carla

The statement on the Carnival site says "excessive quantities of non-alcoholic beverages", which sounds like you can take on a six-pack or two of your favorite soda, but not an entire case!

I wish they would do like they did for my first cruise. Right where we embarked, some organization was selling 12 paks of pop and water with some portion of the proceeds going to charity. It was nice that I got some pop to drink in my room that was officially sanctioned and gave some to charity all at the same time. It wasn't that expensive either.

Well, if you follow Carnival's luggage FAQ that says you "must" lock your luggage before the porter takes it, I don't see how they can take it from you.

Thats true!
Good point. I will carry a 12 pack on me and put a 12 pack in the suitcase (just in case)
I doubt if the room staff will be taking anything since they work on tips.. Carnival might not beable to control this issue... But just to show good faith I will be buying a soda card.... but don't tell anyone, my wife and I will share it

I'll probably buy a pop card as well for when I'm not in my room so they really aren't out any money. And I'll have to have some Miami Vices! I just want enough bottled pop to enjoy when I'm in my room. The pop card doesn't work for room service and I'm not going to walk all the way to the bar and all the way back to get a small glass that lasts about 4 swallows.

We'll be sharing a soda card but probably packing 12 root beers. My boyfriend loves his root beer, but the ships never seem to serve it. I'm happy with the coke and ginger ale! 8)
