Carnival Conquest - December (Weather?)

Has anyone cruised in December? How is the weather then? Is that still considered hurricane season?

Weather is GREAT!

We did the Conquest over New Years leaving on December 31st and it was perfect. The weather was a little cool leaving Galveston, but it wamed up quickly and we went swimming at each port. A fantastic time to go cruising.

There are rare times that a hurricane will develop in December but it will be chilly in Galveston.

Hurricane season officially ends on November 30. While not impossible to have a hurricane in early December it would be considered very rare.

Here's a couple links to average monthly temperatures in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. You might also be able to find MoBay's average on that site, but it'll be similar to the others.

we did three in Dec twice weather was great the third time rained everyday.. Third time a charm?? not in this case
