Hello everyone, my names is Alex and my wife is Grace, married 27 years and will be celebrating number 28 on the Miracle this September. We have two daughters one 21 and the other 25. My name is Brooke,28
we have a daughter, 8 and a son (2).
We are cruising in TWO weeks on the Holiday out of Mobile. This is our first cruise as a family. I took a timeshare cruise several years ago with my best friend and it was just "okay". The timeshare thing was a NIGHTMARE!! I will never do that again!!!!
Anyway, I can hardly stand myself (I'm sure others are sick of hearing about how many days and hours it will be until I'm in Mexico! HAHA!) Will it ever get here?????
I'm tami and hubby is matt, we have been married for 26 yrs now. we have 2 girls and a boy, and 2 wonderful grandkids.
I'm getting ready to go on my 3rd cruise on the Inspiration may 12th.
Hi, I am Jennifer, 35, and my girlfriend is Melinda, 44. She has a 24 year old son, I have a 17 year old daughter and a 14 year old son.
She and I will be going on our first cruise in September out of Galveston on the Conquest. Hoping for a full family cruise in 2008.
I am sure we will be addicted to cruising!
I'm Jim. About 20 years ago, I got very seasick on my first cruise [Rotterdam V]. If you thought that would have been the end of cruising for me, you would been mistaken. For May 2007 will be cruise number 20 for this single hospital employee from S. California...who's been working for the Federal Government for nearly 25 years. Hence, the rapidly graying hair on this 50-year old. The cruise will mark my 7th aboard a "Fun Ship". The first was about nine years ago on the "Holiday"; on tbe "Sensation" in 2002; "Paradise" in 2003; the "Conquest" in both 2004 and 2006; and a "crossing" on the "Liberty" in Spring 2006. The Rotterdam V? I cruised on her as the Rembrandt. Just weeks before Premier's bankruptcy.
hi my name is wendy and im happily divorced! i have a seven year old son. my very first cruise with by in april 2008 on the carnival freedom. i can hardly wait. im 38 years old and have been a pharmacy tech for about 20 years. whew! anything else? oh yes are there more single people out there cruising cause it gets kinda awkward being a single among couples.

Hey Sunshine. . .I am fairly new to the site but feel right at home now. I will be going on my first cruise in 13days with my BF. We are both in our 30's and really, really excited. Since I booked my trip and lucked out on finding this site, this is the one thing that has kept me from going insane. Thanks !!!
Aside from the anticipation of boarding the ship I must say Iam in desperate need for some good ol sunshine. You see I reside in central New York and as I type we are in the midst of yet more snow.
Not only have you all helped me with suggestions on what to wear and wear to go, you also gave out great tips on all those must have items to make the trip even more enjoyable (I have already packed the powerstrip).
You guys are the best!!
And the count down continues. . .Oh & keep the tips coming.
Never let a Monday ruin your Sunday!!

I am one of the lead architect on a team that designs multi-million dollar data centers for a very large corporation you know very well.

I'm Elaine, husband is Doug (both late 40s). We cruise at least once a year with our daughters Danielle 16, Lauren 13, my parents (in their 70s and Dougs parents (in their late 60s).
My family and parents are all Platinum, have been since it started. I just got off my 14th Carnival cruise, my parents 23rd!!! My goal is to beat 100 cruises once I retire. I plan on getting on a ship and only getting off when they make me!!! Doug says he'll be right by my side but I can start without him because I can retire from BellSouth (which is now AT&T) in 3 years and Doug still has 15 to go with the Post Office!!!
For Danielle's Sweet 16 we took her & her 3 best friends on a cruise instead of having a party and I told Lauren we can do the same for her... It was Danielle's idea but heck, we didn't fight her on it!!!
So, I guess I can say that I am very fortunate because my whole family loves cruising.....
