Our daughters Passport is officially 8 days late as of today. Knowing the goverment is slow and behind on processing the Passport requests I sent off for it several months before we cruise. I caution anyone who is thinking of getting a Passport not to wait until the last minute and save yourself some grief. Since we dont sail until July we have plenty of time yet to wait.
Very good advice. Let me add that right now you don't need a passport. If your cruise is 60 days or earlier, hold on to the birth certificates and get your passport after you get back. This will save you a lot of stress. If you have 60 or more days, then don't delay. Get them now!!!
