Default Group Cruises/Charter Cruises

Does anyone know of a sure-fire way to find out if the cruise you are looking at is already booked by a large group (over 100)?

I know you can google but with a simple Internet search any date/ship combination has so many hits that it takes forever to go through each one.

The reason why I ask is that I know there are certain groups that, if a large enough number get on any one ship, will change the entire atmosphere of the ship and at times public rooms will be closed off to the rest of the passengers.

I just want to do a little research. I have nothing against any one group but I want to avoid if possible any group of more than say 300.

Any ideas?

Sorry... no formal method of finding out about groups on a cruise. Even travel agents aren't given that information... except in the case of full ship charters.

I'm afraid googling for advertising of groups on the dates you're considering is the only method I know of.

Thanks, that is what I do now but it is very tedious and there is no guarantee that I get the info that I want.

Thanks anyway. While I know why this info is not readily available, it would come in handy b/c if a group large enough timpact the atmosphere/use of public rooms is on a specific cruise it is unfair not to let people know.

I have read some very interesting stories about this type of thing.

Oh well, back to google
