Well..the 'girls' wanted to book a cruise and the only one we could find close to us at a good price was the Fantasy. I am also booked on the Fantasy in September (which is why I wanted a different carnival ship) but can you tell me the pros, cons, ups, downs and abouts about Fantasy? Is it a nice ship? How are the oceanviews? Is it like any other room where they have the 2 beds and the sofa sleeper? On the site...we don't see the sofa in the room! Anything you can give would be appreciated! This is their first cruise - so I want to make sure they have fun!
What kind of cabin did all of you book? I know that the cabins that are oceanviews only, do not have a sofa sleeper. Now the balcony oceanviews... that is a different matter.

I just got back off the Fantasy. It a nice ship but and old ship. You want be able to tell since this is your 1st cruise. The pros Internet Cafe 1 Hour 27.95 then theres the Coffee Cafe which I really enjoyed on the day at Sea. I hope there are more that just you guys are going because I was a little board because my friemd was sea sick ( get the patch before you leave and she had strep throat. Therefore I had to find some people to hang out with. The food was very good. I really enjoyed the chicken ceasar salad which you could get anytime of the day. I found the shows was not that good I guest because I was there by myself. Overall I had a relaxing time and I would go with more people. I hope you have fun. Oh play BINGO i won 100.00 and 30.00 on the scratch off cards. I didnt win anything in the casino. I would enter the slot tournament. That seemed fun. Oh also they had Sushi one evening and that was kinda cool.
I can't believe they don't have a sofa!!! Are the bunks uncomfortable?? For the cruise in Sept...I have a suite. NO problem there. For the cruise in January - an Oceanview because of budgets of my friends. I hope it is comfortable!! Isn't it the same size as the inspiration??

When you get off the Fantasy, We will be boarding her We also have a Ocean View cabin. We are on the Empress deck Mid-ship.
This one is strickly for R & R for the wife and I. Just to get away for a few days.

Hey...which time?? The one in September or the one in January? In September, I have a suite (which is equiv to a balcony I believe on larger ships I think) with 4 of us going and in January, I have a OV -- with 3 people. Has anyone ever had a suite on the Fantasy??
