i! I'm new to the site and a first time cruiser! I'm leaving May 13 on the Victory. I am 20 yrs old and am crusing with my much older parents (dad is 71 and mom is 57!) We are going to San Juan and I was wanting to bring back some rum and other alcholol. I know I will have to hand it over when I get to the ship, but how does it work when I get off? I'm not 21, so am I allowed to bring it back into the US? We aren't flying, so I don't have to go through any of that process.
Thanks in advance!
Just to be on the safe side, since you aren't legal drinking age, have one of your parents declare any liquor purchases and take it off the ship for you. If you were flying, you'd have to have it in your checked luggage, but since you aren't, you can simply carry it off as it is.
There is only one customs form for the whole family (U.S. Customs and Border Protection Declaration Form 6059B). Either your dad or mother fills out the form. On the back is where you list what you bought while outide of the US. So, you don't declare anything on your own.
Have one of them carry the booze off.

That is correct. Whatever all three of you bought goes on one form. No idication of who bought what.
