Default Iced Tea question

This may sound dumb, but I was wanting to know if the Iced Tea you get on Carnival is sweetened or do you have to add sugar to it? Since I have been living in the south for several years I like my "sweet tea".

The tea on the Glory in Feb. was unsweetened. There is sugar, and artificial sweeteners on all of the tables.

Hi its not brewed either.. its the powder stuff.. Which is why I didn't drink it. HAHAHA I picked up a tea bag and steeped it in hot water.. then poured it over ice to make real ice tea. They also have lemon.. if you like it that way.

Dina,

I take it one step further. I take a pitcher. My bag of tea bags, and my mug. I make it several times during the cruise. So that I look cool, I drink it in the wine glasses they have in the room.

She prepped it right there on the balcony. She threatened to throw it off the balcony and it had a heart attack and died.

that is absolutely the only bad thing about cruising is the iced tea - I like my iced tea as well - so I stick with water BUT the bloody mary's are AWESOME.

One of these days I am going to take a ton of tea bags. Sneak down to the kitchen on the ship, and make real tea for them. Looks like real tea bags would be a lot cheaper than all that can power stuff.

Yes the Ice Tea is defiantly unsweetened.
We live in Massachusetts and I like ice tea, but my DW has to travel a lot south because of work and always remarks how sweet the tea is down there.
When I’m cruising I will mix the ice tea and lemonade to taste. You might want to try that. I have even mixed my tea and the fruit juice too. Not bad.

Come on ladies the tea is not that Bad. You have to get some sort of fluid in you to compensate for the alcohol intake.
Trarecar be sure and take an insulated mug with a lid. The plastic cups they have s**k. Make everything taste funny.
Have a blast.

Hey Gary thanks for the tip re the plastic cups - so that's why everythign tastes bad its the cups and not the crappy powdered ice tea . But I will take an insulated mug both for my cool drinks and the gallons of coffee needed each am to chase down teh first bloody mary of the day.
