I know that you are leaving the day after we are -are you getting excited? Is your senior getting excited? I really have been excited about going - especially seeing Key West - but for some reasom my enthusiasm is dwindling a little - when it should be increasing! I guess the thought of not staying in the room with my husband - he will be down the hall with my son - is a little bit of the problem. Are you worried about the ones you are chaperoning drinking or drinking a little to much? I know you said that you are going with a larger group - isn't it 50? Didn't you say some other schools were going on the same cruise? There are only 21 of us all together and that includes the chaperones. We have the dining room table all set - 10 at one table - 7 at one - and 4 in a booth (I'm in a booth) of course - I"m not really expecting all of these kids to show up to eat - mine probably will - that is her very favorite part of cruising - but with my luck (and they said you can't move tables if you don't pre-pay gratuities) half of them or more won't show up at the big tables and the few that do won't be able to change places.
Have you sailed alot of times before? This is my first and last group cruise- I'm not really a group person - and everyone says "when you get on the ship you can act like you aren't part of a group". I sure hope none of these kids get in trouble!
Just wanted to check in with you since we are down to 5 days left!
I've been working, shopping, working, getting dry cleaning to the cleaners, tanning, working, washing clothes, working, checking lists, working....you get the idea! I think everyone is thrilled!
GAMOM as far as drinking goes, I'm responsible for my daughter and one other student. I think I can handle them, the others are on their own. I hope their chaperones keep an eye out. I plan to have mine so exhausted from shore tours, they'll fall in the bed and sleep til the next day! Ziplining, scuba diving, snorkeling, shopping, pirate encounter and one beach trip! That's my plan! Well we will stop at Margaritaville and Carlos and Charlies!

I have not even started packing yet --- well I do have the suitcases down. I have got to get it all done tonight - we leave on Saturday. We have 8th grade graduation Friday morning and high school graduation Friday night - so that really only leaves tonight....well actually this evening - because I am definitely NOT a night person...that is the only thing about cruising - it is so hard for me to stay up for any of the nightlife on the cruise - because I go to bed really earlly - but I like to get up really early also.

mel have a wonderful cruise. dont forget your pic assignments. nothing like packing at the last minute huh? hope you made a list so you dont forget anything. but like lou said if you forget something just buy a new one. heck even if you didnt forget it buy a new one.
