Default How many people?

How many people do you normally cruise with? My wife and I have never cruised alone. Our last 2 cruises we had 16 in our group and the one before we had 6 and the 2 prior we had 8. We were thinking of cruising alone one of these times but it is nice to have a few other people around when at ports..........
Just wanted some input from others to see if most people cruise with groups also or alone!
Thanks!

I have cruised with a girlfriend. Then I have cruised with my hubby. After that I have cruised solo.

My Glory cruise in the fall is my first group cruise.

The cruise to Europe, there will be 10 couples. This is the least amount we have ever cruised with. We cruised with group of 95+ people before. This message board allows you to meet up with others that are taking the same cruise. People are so friendly, we met people on board as well.

Good Luck!! That I will not do. I feel that doing thinks as a group is great fun, I also think it's good for couples to get away and improve their marriage or relationship!!

My first cruise was with a group of 6 including me and my son.
Second cruise was my honeymoon which was just me and my husband.
This summer it will be me with DH again...then in July...me and a dear friend.
June of 08, my son's graduation cruise, will be a party of 7... my mom, her DH, sis and her family, and me and my son. DH stays home that cruise because he has to work!
Wooohoooo...I love cruising any which way,

Raina

Yes, Lou, you need to move...we are in North Miami so we are about 5 miles north of Miami port and about 10 south of Ft. Lauderdale. I think we are going to just take a cab on june 3rd...or get a friend to take us so we don't pay for parking.
It;s all good
Raina<~~ who grew up in Cleveland, Ohio ...the only cruise I had before was the dinner party cruise on Lake Erie

That would be nice to live that close. We are sailing out of Miami in April 2008 and thinking of cruising on the Triumph in Sept of this year......

Is it close to the same size as the Liberty?
Can you tell it is older? Very worn out on the interior?

Monty, I usually do too but we gave this cruise to my parents for their Anniversary! This is a milestone for them and wanted to share it with them, dont worry we will find time to ourselves. My parents are actually pretty cool about stuff like that. What should be more interesting is that I am the only one in my group that has cruised. My DH has never been, I had been on two before with an ex. I hope they all love it as much as I do!

I have cruised once with a family member and twice with my husband. We prefer going alone. We are very busy at home and enjoy the one-on-one time.

We are always cruising with family & friends.
We just returned from the Triumph: Miami, Half moon cay St. Thomas, San Juan,Grand Turk.
there were 12 couples. All the husbands were classmates in collage. The wifes are all good friends. It was a great time. We are planning our next one for 2008.

I cruise with my husband and daughter. I would love to cruise with another couple, but nobody we know wants to come. I always ask my sister to come, but she tells me no, she will get seasick.

If anyone is cruising on the Destiny on July 15 let me know.

We have only cruised twice. The first time was with a group from work. It was ok except too many things were pre-arranged. Like who we were seated with for Dinner, and our cabin location. Lets say I really did not know what was going on. This last time was by ourseleves. I had people say they would like to go with us. I just told them they were not invited, this was for my DW and myself. We have one booked for Jan. our DD is now wanting to go with us. She hasn't decided yet. Her and her Husband are lot of fun and we all get along well. It will be fine if they go too. I really preffer to cruise with just my DW.

Yes it is. Even if other people are there you can do your own thing if you want but there are always others there if needed.

You are right. The entire group ate together on formal night and we took pictures together. Then the adults ate together in the dining room one night and the kids ate at the buffet and pizza. We chose one time of day that we all met up was usually for lunch, and always managed to bump into each other for another meal. We loved it all!!!!! We have a great extended family, we live in different cities, so we meet up to do this and it is GREAT!!!
