I just checked both of my two bottles of sunblock. I didn't see an expiration date.
I was told by my dermatologist that sunblocks do deteriorate with time, so it makes sense that the bottles would have an expiration date.

That having been said, I don't worry about the expiration date. I use so much sunblock due to my propensity for skin cancer that I rarely hit the expiration date.

I just found a 3 oz sunblock tube - Neutrogena upra sheer dry-touch sunblock with SPF 70. I bought two of them - that should do for the 4 day cruise. If I have to buy more on the ship, I will. But at least I now can be sure I can do this trip without checking any luggage with American --two carryons and a backpack should do it!

I wish I could get my wife to take a cruise with just carryons - it'll never happen. She believes that three changes of clothes per day minimum is appropriate.

Tell that to my back, although I will admit that I can now handle four pieces of luggage at one time.
