How high up is the Riviera Deck from Sea Level?

We booked an OV guarantee with Carnival's Triumph.
I found out today that we got a stateroom assigned on the Riviera Deck (Deck #1).
I was wondering how high up is the Riviera Deck from Sea Level?
Any chance that we would get waves "crashing" into the window? :-?

Thanks for your help

Not unless you hit really heavy waves. Even though you are on the bottom, the crew is usually further down than you.

Hope that helps

hi
did Riviera on both Victory and Miracle--can't say exactly how high-but I would take that deck again-no waves crashing into windows and nice vantage point ---also-less movement that low in ship-and was in some choppy water at times...

We've always cruised on the Riveria deck or the equivalent on another line. No waves. no problem. Enjoy. :D

You are low enough to stick an oar out your window and row!  LOL LOL

Just kidding. I am almost always on that deck Cat. 1A and all.

I believe you are the equivalence to being between the 2nd and 3rd floor of a building if the water level was the ground floor.

The infirmary and the crew quarters are below you and all of that is above water. At least I know the infirmary is.

It is a nice deck. Easy on and of at port, cabins above you so there is no noise from the promenade, lobby, lido deck or the theater or dining rooms and less movement from the ship. It is a nice deck. My deck of choice.

:D Thanks everyone for your replies.
It is nice to know that you think the Riviera Deck is a nice deck with less movement and quiet too.

Our first cruise we sailed was on the Riveria deck and it was very nice. We never saw or felt waves. We had an ocean view. I do know there is at least one deck ,workers, and maybe more below.
