I don't play bingo that often, but I think it is generally $10 per card/$20 for three cards.

Make sure she plays the free cruise bingo on the last day just before the debarkation talk.

How many plays for $10?

That sounds a little expensive.

I think it is normally 1 game but the prize is fairly large.

It will be much more expensive than what you would pay at home, and can be very frustrating to buy a 10.00 card, and only get to play on it once.
Bingo is usually before a show, or a talk.

Just cruised on the Liberty and the cost was $10/1 card or $20/3 cards. The games varied and one seemed to be a scam. They advertised it as $1000 prize but then explained if you bingo you have to choose an envelope. Envelope could contain $1000, a lesser cash amount (I forget amount, poss $500) or $250 worth of scratch offs. So technically you could walk away with nothing if you ended up with scratch off envelope and all the scratch offs were losers.

Unlike RCCL they accept cash for the bingo cards so if you don't want to stand in line and wait to pay with your sign&sail, bring cash. They walk around and hand them out if you are paying cash.

Just got off the sensation it was $10 a card 3 for $20.00 I missed winning a cruise by one number. All the numbers were called and I got them off the bat everyone around me was so excited but I sat and waited and fifteen numbers later someone else won. I was left sitting still waiting for the one number. It was fun though and I only played that one card.

When we went the last day wasn't free. You bought the card but they played about 5 games on the same card. My BF and I now know to wait until the last day Carla

Bingo on Carnival is a big rip off. The bingo is run by the Casino on Board. Just watch and see how many $10 or $20 cards are sold duing that bingo game and the pay out is maybe $250, $500. The chances of you winning are slim.

Is it a 21 and over event since it is run by the Casino?

Thanks,

Brian

No it happens as a pre-show event in the theater. I think you have to be 18 to play.

IMO, IRIS is correct. Not only on Carnival, but on all the "mass market" ships. They take in much more than they pay out! On our first few cruises the price for three games was reasonable (I think it was $9.00(?)). It was worth it just for the entertainment value. Now it's ridiculous . Even my Bingo loving DH has quit playing.

As far as I know, under 18's can play with a parent there. If they win the parent must claim the prize.
