Default 4 day cruise, what day is formal night?

We'll be on a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas from a Sunday - Thursday. On a cruise of this length what night is usually formal night? I'm wondering because we probably will not eat dinner on the ship on the night we're in Nassau but I don't want to miss the formal dinner.

Hi ~~~
We are going on a 4 dayer in 9 days, and I was told that the formal night is the 2nd night out, which is our "at sea" night.
Have fun !

We just got off the sensation May 6 the formal night was the second. The ship is lovely as is the dining areas. The whole cruise was a blast I loved the ports and so will you! My sister bought like ten pocketbooks back and paid only between 20-45 dollars and each and every one of them registered as being real when we arrived back home. The deals were wonderful off the beaten path a bit which is still close to the port where we docked!

when my son and i go on sensation July 29th we're going to bring dressy clothes for formal night after all - can we have them picked up first thing in the morning that day and pressed in time for dinner - or should we send them off for pressing when we board?

I'll be wearing a black velvet low cut short dress (thick spaghetti straps) with black pumps, my son will wear what we hd to buy him for 8th grade graduation ceremony - black khakis, black long-sleeved shirt and a cool multi-shade of purple tie. He doesn't want to dress up, but I think that he will realize there are girls on board and he's likely to change his mind!
