Default Bottled water...

Sorry guys if this is an old question. I searched, but could not find the question.

Drinking Water on the ship...

How is it? Is it drinkable or do most of you buy bottled water, which I presume they have on board.

We're big water drinkers and I'm hesitate to just drink water from the taps or bar fountains on board.

Will appreciate opinions on this one, thanks.

Andy

Closing in on our sail date! This next week is going to be torture...

The water on the ship is pure and clean. It is just as good as many bottle waters on the market.

Drink up!

They purify their water onboard.

Andy,

The water on the ship is safe. Be sure to bring something that you can use to fill while on the ship. That way you can drink to your hearts content.

Water is fine! But do take along a container to put the water in with ice. The cups are small..

We drank it and didn't die! We also brought 2 cases of water with us. Just taped a luggage tag to the case and it arrived...minus a few renegade bottles of water that apparently jumped ship!

We drank the water on board and no one got sick...BUT we also brought 30-1 liter bottles for our family of 4 as we, too are big water drinkers. We brought back 5 bottles is all. It was useful to have on deck while sunning and off ship on the beaches and while walking. Hubby brought a big case (36?)Diet Pepsi and brought half the case back home with him. He simply didn't drink it as much as he thought he would. In fact we nixed the purchase of Drink Cards on the first day when we found so much was available for free. Water, iced tea, coffee, fruit punch, lemonade (OJ and Fruit juice in the a.m.) were available at no cost.

I just have to second the idea of bringing bottled water with you or some kind of container you can fill up and take on shore excursions! The bottled water you can buy from Carnival is quite a bit more expensive than what you can get from Wal-mart!
