Default Balcony - Obstructed??

We are booked on a balcony on the Legend. My travel agent said it was the one above the life boats, but she said we will see the tops of them. I want to know if she is pulling my leg or what. From the ship layout map it shows the lifeboats a lighter color than the deck below us so it might be true. Has anyone ever stayed in one of those. Also, our particular room is in between the lifeboats so I wonder what is there. A wall?

Please help,

Thanks,

John

I am not familiar with the Legend, but in general there is one deck with cabins that sits sort of above the life boat davits. So you end up seeing the tops of the life boats and davits a bit, hence obstructed view.

I am going on the Majesty of the Sea in a couple of weeks and also booked an obstructed view room, same thing.

Hope this helps.

One of our cruises we were on a level just above the life boats and they were not an issue. Not sure about this ship though.

I was on the Pride right above the lifeboats. The boats were almost close enough to touch, but you could easily look out over them. They weren't a problem at all.
