Trip insurance and Blue Cross of FL

I was told verbally that Blue Cross of FL covers helicopter medical evacuation from a cruiseship as well as any medical care. However, I can't seem to get a written response on this.

Any info appreciated.

If you can't get confirmation, I wouldn't bank on it.

Most regular Insurances that you have have a limit on evacuation they will pay. You could have a bill of $30 to $40,000. I would get cruise insurance, most have $50 to $100,00.
