airline carry on restrictions: makeup remover & other pa

ladies, how have you brought makeup removers along in carry on bags on airplanes? I was planning to put 10 pads (for a 4 day cruise) into a tiny ziploc snack bag and put that in the 1-oz ziploc with the liquids/gels. The same goes for my son's Stridex - I'd like to bring some along for him the same way so he has minimal breakouts on board (he's 14)

thanks Donna - actually my son and I are each only bringing one carry on, no "checked" luggage on this 4 night cruise.
