Default Atlantis question

Can anyone tell us how much it would cost to do the waterpark slides at Atlantis. I know to see the digs would be $29, but what if we just wanted to do the Pyramid slide??

Unfortunately, the only things that ship excursions or walk up visitors can see is the Digs for $29 (or free after 6-7PM), the Casino and the Galleria shops.
The pool and waterpark areas are only for hotel guests and guests at the Comfort Suites next door.

There is only 3 ways you can use Atlantis waterpark areas and pools.
(no matter how many of them you intend to actually use)

1 )Book a room at Atlantis for the day.
Prices per night at Atlantis run about $199 - $280/night and higher

2) Book a room next door at the Comfort Suites for the day.
Each room gets 4 wristbands for admission into Atlantis waterparks.
This is what the majority of the people, who feel they just have to use the waterpark, opt to do.
I can't remember what the last rate I saw for the hotel was.
An easy search should answer this for you.

3) The Atlantis on incredibly underbooked days, does offer daypasses for a little over $100 per person.
(I can count on one hand, the succesful reports of people actually getting lucky enough to be at Atlantis on a day when they actually did offer the daypass.)

I've never understood the booking a room to use waterslides idea myself.
(not when there are so many other great places to see in Nassau and hotels with daypasses for only $15pp to go to.)
But if you divide the cost of a room at the Comfort Suites 4 ways, it is only a bit more expensive than a waterpark back home.

Thanks for your response Bill. Someone, either on this site or another cruise related site, posted their most recent pics from the Glory cruise. Those pictures showed the couple and their 2 children in the water park at Atlantis, with purple wrist bands. I was hoping........we could do the same, oh well, 7 days and counting..........

Sounds like they booked a room at the Comfort Suites.

Sorry.

Maybe in a few years after the newness wears off at Atlantis (since they just opened a whole new section of the hotel and new section of waterpark back in March) they might start offering more reasonable daypasses.
