Default Spirit Mexican Riveria

My wife and a bunch of friends are taking the 8-day to the Mexican Riveria in February of 08. We are thinking about a couple of excursions...this seems like the perfect place to get great advice.

We are thinking about snorkeling in Acapulco or somewhere else during the trip, and the cliff divers and dinner. In looking at the average temps. during that time of the year it looks like the air temp. will be ok but what about the water temps? If you have taken this excursion before would you suggest is - and why not? Is there time during the day to do both?

This is our first cruise - EVER! We can't wait - the last day is my wife's birthday (it will be a blast!).

Hi and welcome to the board! There is a great group of people here! We are going on that same cruise Nov 08 -- so any advice anyone can give to either of us would be great!

Sorry I can't help with info on the water temp, although I've heard it's not as warm as the Caribbean side. I'm doing my first Mexican Riviera cruise Jan. 26th, so I'll just be getting off the ship as you board.

I'll be sure to keep it in good condition for you.

Acapulco is the best port to snorkle due to it being on the Pacific side and the water is colder on this coast. The excursion you have planned sounds good! You will have a blast!
