Default Carnival Fantasy Excursions-Cozumel and Costa Maya

My husband and I are going on our first cruise as a happily married couple and aren't sure about some of the excursions available. I have seen different posts related to this. I really want to do a zip line jungle excursion one day and the other port day spend at the beach. When/who through should we book these? I think Cozumel is our only option for the jungle excursion, but does anyone have comments on these excursions (cheap options, best location, etc)? Any help would be great. Oh and we are leaving the 14th of July.

Have you first checked with the Carnival excursions? if you have and you are looking for cheaper, then Cozumel is a great place to go out on your own.

Have you checked out the excursion section of Cruisemates. You might find independence people to get in touch with.

Good Luck

Regarding shore excursions…Grand Cayman was unique with the British influence. We decided to just go to 7 mile beach and relax. Then lunch at Senor Frog’s for lively entertainment. Cozumel was clear kayaking and snorkeling. I was amazed by the clear waters and beautiful sea life. Belize we did city tour and zoo with a local tour guide in a mini-van. Costa Maya we visited the Mayan ruins and were intrigued by the culture and excavated ruins. All ports have a variety of shops to choose from right at the pier, but most piers are close to local stores and restaurants outside the perimeter of the pier. So in Cozumel you can get a Mexican beer for $1.50 and a large bottle of Kaluha for only $12 (duty free.)
If you want to snorkel go to the reef and not off-shore. Better op to see more sealife and coral. Best I hear in Belize or Costa Maya.

For the two places you mentioned, Costa Maya has the beach that you can lounge at but no zip lines. Cozumel has a zip line park and a beach.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
