Default Room Service Question

I have been reading conflicting information.

I am going on the Carnival Valor in September.

Is room service free at any time or only 'meal' times?
Is it a limited menu or can it be from anywhere on the ship?

Thinking about breakfast every morning and maybe late night pick me ups as I stare off into the ocean...

Thank you!
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Room service is available 24/7 and it's included in the price of your cruise.

It's to late now, but tomorrow, I will see if I have a menu for you.

Kevin,

Have you read my Virtual Cruise? It is for the Conquest, but very much like the Valor.

Just remember to tip for room service, a dollar or two per delivery.

Default Room Service Menu

Kevin/Luanne: I've "bookmarked" [included in "Favorites"] a Room Service menu. Here it is:

yeah, I'm looking forward to room service on the two excursion days as we'll have 8:15 or 9:00 excursions. the at sea day and day of debark we will do the breakfast buffet up on Lido.

I also expect to order any late night snacks we want!

Just keep in mind you DO have to tip the room service person, as they don't get a piece of the 3 meal tipping, I believe.

Room service is free (tip suggested) and available 24/7. There is a room service menu to order from. I have heard however, that if you do ask for something not on the menu they will bring it to you. I wouldn't ask for a steak dinner to be sent up at 7am, but if you do order around dinner time, I wouldn't be suprised if they would deliver it for you.

I don't know for sure but I don't think they delivery full meals. I read recently that Carnival also does not let you take food out of the dining room back to your cabin. It may be a liability issue in case you leave the food sitting around too long, eat it and then get sick. This is only my guess.
