Default ? about first run movies on cabin tv

how does it work to watch the first run movies available on the cabin tv - more like pay per view (they only have set times to watch it) or on- demand (it starts when you select it)?

also are these free or are you charged for it?

thanks!

They're free--and they start at set times. Those times will be in the previous night's Capers

We never found any first run movies.

I remember the Sandlot and Wild Hogs.

Michelle,

The Sensation will have, I believe it was 3 channels of free movies, with a selection of them rotating throughout your 4 days.

BUT.....

They are not listed in the Capers (I just double checked both sets I still have) and there is no channel with any sort of schedule.
The movies are basically what your cable or satelitte has just added to the PPV lineup.

On our last cruise, it took me all 4 days to finally see the entire movie "Invincible", due to the rotating movies and no way to know when it aired next. (to give you an idea, "Invincible" didn't debut on DirecTV PPV until the week after we returned.)

I know some of the newer ships actually have PPV movies also that you can order.
But the Sensation doesn't have the interactive TV system, to oder PPV, order shore excursions or check your sign and sail account.

Bill

Thanks everyone, I don't suppose we'll actually take the time to sit and watch a movie while on vacation, but it would have been nice if I knew we could plan on watching one while we pack up the final morning...

As you said Bill, we'll probably just hope to catch part of a movie we haven't seen yet while we're packing up.

If you are like us, there wasn't much time to pack up. They kicked us out of the rooms by 8:00 AM. Didn't leave much time after the showers last minute checking.

We did turn the TV on when we came back to get ready for dinner most nights. It was mostly CNN and the two movies I listed earlier. I wouldn't say the choices were memorable.
