Ask the cruise director if he could wish her happy birthday during the Welcome Aboard show the first day. We always try to catch this show as it sets the mood for the cruise and is always fun with audience participation.

In 2001, the cruise was a birthday present to the "ex" and I mentioned to the maite'd that it was her birthday. The staff brought a cake to the table for her and sang happy birthday. It was no extra cost for the cake and it was a good sized one... enough for the table of 10 people.
Cruised more times than I can remember.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
Will you be at sea or port on her birthday? I had a surprise birthday party planned in advance for my sister at Margarittaville in Jamaica. It was great. The DJ kept mentioning her and including her in the song choices. Then they brought out a huge wrapped box with a guy in it that popped out and danced for her! We had a cake that we shared with everone that was there.
