I was on the Sensation a couple weeks ago.

Nothing like that on there.

Carnival actually is starting to put adults only pools on the ships. I'm not sure which ships, but it's coming. I think I've heard that some of the newer ships have them, but can't remember which ones.

I read that all the Fantasy class ships were going to refurbished and redesigned to unluce an adult only pool and kids fun pool. This is something I am looking forward to having on Carnival. It will give Royal a run for it's money.

Here you go from Carnival.com

03/29/2007

MIAMI (March 29, 2007) — Expansive children’s water parks, a new design style and features for the pool areas, and the creation of the Serenity adults only deck area will be part of a dramatic transformation of the open decks of Carnival Cruise Lines’ eight Fantasy-class ships.

Carnival is making sure they are not undone by Royal Caribbean. For the most part, they compete from the same demographics.

Boy I wonder what they will think of next?

I have never cruised before but reading this post I had another question, is the pools really overflowing with a bunch of little kids to begin with, is that why you posted this question? It's a good one, never thought about tons of kids all over the place but yea I guess now that you mention it, it could be an issue for those without little ones.

Usually, the kids are tied up with the childrens' groups but there are the kids that aren't. It's not bad really. And this is from an 15 year empty nester.

It is not the number of kids, it is the how loud and out-of-control two or three young males can be. I go to the pool to relax. Adult Only works for me.

Thank you all for responding.
