Default Cards vs. Keys

We're first timers - leaving in two weeks - did our docs dance this weekend.

Quick question- We have two cabins - are the cabin keys (cards) separate from the sign/sail cards or do you just get one card that serves for your sign/sail charges and room key? We want to split up the keys so we have access to both cabins.

Thanks
Hakmat

It depends on your ship.... When I was on Destiny, the sail and sign card was my cabin "key" as well. When I was on the Fascination, the cabin "key" was separate from the sail and sign card.

On the Valor, your Sail & Sign card will also serve as your stateroom door key.
