I am going on my first cruise end of August with Carnival Glory out of Cape Canaveral. can anyone give me advise as to transport to and from the airport? We are staying on by Universal Studios after the cruise and will need transportation there too. I have checked the sites and with Carnival and they are charging alot of money to get to the airport so I am considering renting a car...any suggestions?? It is my first time in the States too so hence the questions!!

When I cruised on Glory, used the cruiseline transfers and they were reasonable. You may be able to do a one way and then just rent a car after the cruise to the hotel. Its also possible to go the round trip with the transfers and get a hotel shuttle from the airport after the cruise. Something to check into. You can always rent a car to the port, but that will involve more time to pick up and drop off.
