In 48 day's I'll be leaving for my cruise and I am wondering what the weather will be like in Miami. I have been keeping an eye on the Valor web can and have noticed that around port sail away time in Miami it has rained. I am curious, is this typical, a 4 o'clock shower? I have a balcony cabin, so I won't worry too much about the rain while watching Miami slowly pass by.
I am ready, I could leave tomorrow. Alas, I have discovered a waterproof, shockproof, hell, damn near unbreakable digital camera that I want to get. I tried to get it yesterday, but the store was sold out, naturally it was on sale. I want to get it so I can take it in the water, that would be cool......
Just patiently waiting for the docs to come in.....*sigh*
This is the rainy season here in Florida. The showers do not last very long at all, they show up, drop some water, leave, then the sun comes out and everything dries up. Don't worry about the rain putting a damper on your cruise. You'll be fine.
Have a great time!

September is prime hurricane season but hurricane hits are not common. What you will get in Miami is rain, sun, sun, sun, rain, sun, sun, sun, sun, rain. It is a vicious cycle but will not affect your vacation.
I cruise every year late sept/early oct for my birthday and have always had great weather.

I am hopeful the weather will be sunny and warm, altough we have been going through a heat wave/hot spell in the province I live in for the whole month of July. I can only imagine what imy power bill willbe like since every room has a fan or air cooler to keep it cool. Our heat is a dryer heat, lower humidity, bit ut our northly position make ths sun more intense. I can handle the sun in the Cairbbean, but a 33C day here is can be somewhat unbearable.
Let's cross our fingers for no hurricanes. I haven't heard of any tropical storms or hurricanes so far, so I am very hopeful that the NOAA is wrong at this being a higher than usual season for hurricanes. Wasn't last year predicted to be that way to?....
very hot; then the brief showers and then you are in a steam bath
