CD Todd Wittmer on Liberty Ship...Did you like him?

Ok I found out the new CD for the freedom this winter is going to be Todd Wittmer. He is currently on the Liberty. Has anyone had him? Did you like him? Thanks, Carla

There is a Todd Wittmer, don't know if this is the same one youare talking about or not. If it is, we had him several years ago and he was very good. Have fun!

Is he a heavy set guy? If so, he was on the Liberty during my cruise. Didn't see or hear from him much. He has a pretty good sized staff and the passengers saw and heard from them more.

Nope he's a skinny, younger guy with dark hair.

I haven't seen him since last summer. Then he had dark hair and blond streaks

Just got back from the Liberty. Todd was the director. He was great. Always in the mix of things. We saw him everyday at all the events etc. He was great with taking pictures with my kids etc. A little "cheesy" humor but her really kept things moving.

Yep, we too had Todd on our Liberty cruise recently. I thought he was good,,,,not great but much better than some we've had in the past. You'll have a great cruise with him, so I wouldn't worry about it. (his staff does most of the work anyway.

We had Todd on our Liberty cruise in January - my wife had such a nice conversation with him at the returning cruisers' party that I had to take over the duties of welcoming people for him.

Personally, CDs do not make or break a cruise for me - nonetheless, I would have to rate Todd as one of the better CDs that I have experienced.

Todd is a handsome guy! I think he's a great Cruise Director, alot of fun! I've done 11 Carnival Cruises and he is by far one of the best, Mark Price is awesome but I hear the best is John Herald. I am doing the Turkey cruise with Cruisemates, hopefully he'll be on the Freedom at that time.

Actually it sounds like you will have John Heald. Todd is suppose to take over in December and through most of 2008. Carla

Lucky Carla. We just returned from the Liberty and yes, Todd was the CD.

He was awesome. This was our 4th cruise and we did a ton more that total on the other 3.

The kids loved him, ladies young and old thought he was cute, and very personable.

Either way have a great cruise. Look forward to your review of the Freedom.

Ok by your picture you seem to be a fun young maybe party type people. If so you will have a blast with Todd!!! Please do not miss the Bar Crawl. We had him on the Liberty and the Miracle. He is always keeping things going. We are going back on the Liberty Sept.9th and hope he is still there. It seems that they put him on the newest ships because he is that good.

What - no bar crawl yet for you guys?

We haven't done it yet either but have seen it first hand.

The group meets at a designated bar and you go from bar to bar having a specific drink at each stop. From what I understand you do not do all the bars in one night, they do spread them out for everyone.

However, if you don't mind trying different drinks, you are good.

Personally I like my specific drinks and since we travel with our children, someone needs to be the responsible adult

Check it out the next time you cruise. Even if you don't participate, it is rather enjoying to watch.
