Default quick question re: my cabin assigment

hello all
i just received my cabin assignment for out cruise on the liberty
its 8201
I looked it up on the deck plan,, its the first room on deck 8 near the bow.
its not an irregular shaped room but was wondering if there is a down side to being all the up front?
Thank you in advance .. this site has been a weath of information!

There s pften a bit more motion at the very front. Also. you might hear the anchor dropping if you're a light sleeper. On the plus side, nobody will be going down the hallway in front of your cabin. There will be no noise dur to that

Only if you hit an iceberg. And I haven't seen one of them in the Caribbean since the nite I closed the bar(s). You got a GREAT cabin!

We were in 1002 on the Liberty. There is definitely more motion being in the front, but not that bad. But it helps me sleep. You're a couple of decks below where we were, so the motion should be somewhat less. It should be fine. Enjoy your cruise.
