No, no, no my cancelled cruise was back in February, 2007. I was not involved in yesterday's Victory bump.

Oh, I thought you were suppose to go on the Victory yesterday. Well, that's good, so you are just waiting for your next cruise. I am glad that nobody got hurt in that crash.

You told us that you put the 2 shore excursions on your Mastercard.

Step 1: You put the shore excursions on your master card.

Step 2: It rained - this is what started the confusion

Step 3: Carnival asked you, according to your post, if you wanted a different excursion to replace the original excursion that did not happen because it rained... Correct?

Step 4: You both then indeed took an excursion. (2) excursions.

So let's say the cost of these excursions were the same for simplicity sake:

each excursion was $50.00. That would put a charge of $100.00 on your S&S.
However, rather than being able to credit your mastercard, Carnival credited your S&S $100.00 for the two new excursions and left the charges on your master card.

Let me know because now I am confused.

Ok everbody, I feel like a complete idiot, but I got good news, everything worked out on the S&S bill.

I showed my husband all of your responses to my question and we went over and over the bill and it worked out. The reason why I got confused was that on the S&S bill, it said the following:

Shore Tours: -90.00
Shore Tours: -40.00 (which was the tour that got cancelled)
Shore Tours: 90.00
shore Tours: 45.00

So when I saw that, I thought they were charging me again for the other tour that we took in place of the one that got cancelled. Then my MC bill came and I saw the charge on that also for $130. When we added it all up without the shore excursions, it came out to be ok.

I can't thank all of you enough for going through this with me step by step.
I was confused and I got everyone else confused SORRY.

So glad it got worked out. That Sail and Sign was confusing and with the added twist of prepaying and separate credit cards....it would give anyone a headache!!
