Default Appropriate Dress for New Years Eve on Carnival?

Below is the dress I have for the new years eve cruise (the green one). I am now having second thoughts as to if this is too dressy for new years eve. Any thoughts to calm my nerves? Carla

Carla, New Year's Eve on a cruise ship????!!! OMG, you lucky gal! If it was me, I'd pull out all the stops and dress to the hilt! I'd even wear a tiara (if I had one....lol). Your dress is beautiful, btw!

The dress is beautiful wear it and enjoy. I will also be on New Years eve cruise. I have not found anythign to wear yet. And DH and I have decided to start a family so I am afraid to spend money on a dress that won't fit. i will have to wait and see. But since I live in Canada by next month find a summer dress won't be easy . Take lots of pictures so that youc an share with us.

Thank you And congrats on the 'soon to be' family.

I am not sure about Canada but here in the states they bring out all the fall formals to stores about November. Plus all of the prom/bridal stores will be carrying a fall line for all the designers. Hope that helps, Carla
