I have never cruised before and this is my first post on this board. I've been browsing for a while and even did a search but I don't see any posts that answer my question.
My daughter and her girlfrind will be with us on a Carnival cruise next year in August. Both girls will graduate HS before the cruise. My daughter will still be 17 (birthday in December) at cruise time but her friend will have just turned 18 in June. I read elsewhere on this site that they will allow 18 year-olds into Club O2 if they are still in HS. This won't be the case and, of course, my 17 year-old can't go to the adult clubs. Is there a way around this? The main reason her friend is coming is so that they can do things together and I'm sure Club O2 will be a major attraction.
There will be a total of 15 in our family group but no one else in their age group. The other kids are much younger (pre-teen) and everyone else is over 21. TIA for any insight or ideas.
We just returned from a cruise, and 18 year olds were not allowed in the teen club. It may depend on the time of year and the club director. Maybe if it is during a slower timeframe they would make allowances.
