I don't know how other people do it but I always wait to book a flight until about 45 days before traveling at the earliest. Booking this far in advance, the flights can change times and even be cancelled.

should be plenty of time. I live an hour from Miami and was off the boat and home by 11am.

i know it's early but I'[m flying on award points and these "free" flights can be difficult to get if you dont' book it early. If it gets cancelled then I'll have to rebook. But I'll take that chance.

I actually went on and booked a later flight as I've heard Miami Intl can be a nightmare and if it is, andsecurity takes forever, I would rther have extra time to relax and read a book, rarhter ahn worry about being late.

I booked a 3:50 flight out.
