Default Carnival Supper Club

We have gone on several cruises but have never visited the reservation only supper clubs. I was considering going on our upcoming Legends cruise the end of September. I know it is extra ($30 pp?) but wasn't sure what this covered. What is on the menu that is so different than the regular meals? Is the Golden Fleece a nice one to visit? How about drinks? Extra for anything other than tea/water? Any advice/info would be appreciated.

Totally worth the $30 pp. I have been to Supper Clubs on the Valor, Spirit and Pride. The service, presentation and flavor of the food will keep you coming back.

We are going for sure on the Spirit in November. Definitely looking forward to it. Drinks are extra. We are taking a bottle of good wine with us!

Dear Wennfred, Having cruised on Carnival Conquest Ships 6 or 7 times, I have always dined in that ships supper club. It is a special experience graced by very attentive service, excellent cuisine, not available in the main dining rooms. I have found from ship to ship the supper clubs to be very similar and comfortable. The $30.00 cover charge is for the extra service, the upscale menu and the joy of quiet, private dining. The clubs usually have a small group providing music and you can dance. All your wines and spirits are extra also. Hope this helps. Good sailing, Woody

Well worth the 30pp to eat there and drinks cost extra just like in the main dining. Water, tea, and whatever else is free in main dining will be of no charge up there. The steaks are awesome!

We have done many but our 2 favorites were on the Glory and the Spirit. Like the others have said, worth the $!

We have been to the supper club on the Spirit, Legend, Glory and the Conquest. We also plan a visit on the Freedom this January. The presentation and quality of the food, as well as the excellent wait staff keep us coming back.
Fred - beautiful pictures - brings back great memories - Thanks :-)

Wow! The food looks good, but I'm so cheap...I don't want to spend an extra 30pp for dinner. Can I just go and leave my husband in the cabin? !

Seriously though...including dinner and dancing, approx how much time do you spend eating in the supper club? Is there actually people slow dancing or will I have to get the party started?

Myrtlemama - Unfortunately , there are no supper clubs on any of the Fantasy class ships. It would be great if that was one of the new upgrades they were doing to that class of ship. Last time I asked, I was told it may be something they consider in the future.

Tish - we normally allow around 2 to 2 1/2 hours to dine there.Last time on the Legend, the dance floor got fairly full. The music was great - perfect for slow dancing.

No...I would never spend $300 in the casino, Fred. That would leave to little for Spa.

Default Supper Clubs

They are different as you have a table for two, the food is just about
the same only if is fixed a lot richer. I have been on quite a few cruises
and gone to three or four and have been disappointed on quite a few
times. It is something you should try. Drinks are extra, but everything
else is included.
