Default Boarding Times

I want to start out by saying that I am aware of the published boarding times for our ship the Paradise. However, I also know that boarding sometimes starts earlier. I'm looking for someone who can tell me the earliest they have been able to "check-in" the board the Paradise. On another cruise line in January the published boarding time was 1:30 we were actually able to check in at 11:30 and they started boarding at about 12:30. We loved getting on board to enjoy the ship before the crush. Although it may be a bit different this time because we have a cat 12 penthouse. We have never done this before. Thank you for any info you have.

Carol

We have boarded and been ON THE PARADISE as early as 12.30pm
Enjoy Catalina & Ensenada.
Rent a golf cart in Avalon (see my reply in your other thread) and rent a car in Ensenada, Hertz have an office there a couple of streets off the main shopping street in town, about a 10-minute walk from the ship.
Reserve it from the United States before you leave, it's much cheaper than their "local" rates!

Happy cruising

Captain

Boarded the Pride as earily as 11am and up on Lido eating at 11:30am. They do a pretty good job getting everyone onboard in Long Beach.

Thank you Captain and Wenfred,

Good info, I thought so. We are taking a pre trip in Indio at my buddies timeshare. So it will be an easy drive up. We plan on being there as early as we can.

No problem Carol.
Ah, Indio, that's nice..............the Palm Springs desert area is beautiful, make sure you guys go to Joshua Tree National Park and take the Aerial Tramway in Palm Springs.....mind ya, I am sure you'll be in good hands with your local friends.
Have a great time

Captain
